In the form of a big hexagonal piece of fabric, we have made a tent that can be pitched into various set-ups, so that it can be used in many camping occasions. This is the Origami.
One tent, many occasions
Whether it’s one or two people, adults or children, everyone can go outdoors and get close to nature. Although there may be different needs in different situations, the Origami tent can be pitched into different set-ups and can function in various weather conditions and use cases.
Luxurious space for one: The single sub pole set-up offers a generous fly area with only one main pole and one sub pole.
Comfortable space for two: This setup is the easiest to pitch and and can provide a more spacious fly area than the single sub pole set-up.
Shelter space: Convert your tent into this tipi-style shelter for night time and windy weather.
Tunnel space: This set-up has two opposite low entrances and a more enclosed internal space, suitable for kids to play inside.

Don’t let these examples limit your imagination. The Origami tent is an extremely flexible product with infinite possibilities waiting for you to explore. Discovering and unlocking new set-ups that suits you can also be fun.
The original hexagonal multi-attachment-point design gives the Origami tent countless possible forms. For ease of use, we have implemented a numbering system for it. When introducing the set-ups in the user manual, we will also attach illustrations with numbers for your reference during setting up. You can also use numbers to share the set-ups you invented with others.
Big space, small package
In an ordinary tipi-style setup, the Origami tent can provide approximately 8.5 square meters of internal area, leaving ample space for tables, chairs, storage, and activities inside the tent even after placing two inflatable sleeping mats or two cots. Compared to tents of similar sizes, the Origami tent is very lightweight, and you can easily pack it in a carrying bag.
In a typical set-up (tipi-style set-up with 5-section main pole), the maximum height is 2.1 meters and can accommodate adults standing inside the tent. It can provide sufficient and comfortable usage space for two people. The maximum sleep capacity is five people.
The weight of the Origami tent is only 2.55 kg. The basic set including tent body, 14 Pierko 25 tent stakes, one main pole and two sub poles, has a total weight of approximately 4.6 kg. The whole set can be stored in a 48 x 20 x 20 cm handbag.
Quick to set up, easy to take down
The Origami tent and the Magpie internal tent can be set-up by just one person. After becoming proficient, the setting up or storage of the tent can be completed under 10 minutes. Due to the highly flexible design of the Origami tent, you may need some time to familiarize yourself with its setup. We suggest that you watch the following video tutorials before your first setup.
Materials and details
We carefully select the materials used for the Origami tent to achieve better performance.
The main fabric of Origami is 70D ripstop nylon. The fabric is silicon and PU coated with a hydrostatic head of 2000mm.
We have tested samples from mutiple fabric suppliers to ensure our fabric meets a higher performance standard in tear and breaking strength.
We use YKK zippers to ensure a smooth experience all the way in the lifetime of the tent.
UTX Duraflex buckles are used in key parts of the straps for enhanced durability.
Exclusive accessories
Tent poles, stakes, and guy ropes, every accessories are taken care of. We have not only designed new tent poles and pegs for the Origami tent, but also equipped it with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene guy ropes, which are lightweight and have strong performance.
The Origami Basic Set comes with a generous set of 14 pieces of our Pierko 25 tent stakes. They are very tough and optimized for light-weightness and holding performance. Their design also makes them easier to use with Origami’s elastic attachment points to easily convert between different set-ups.
UHMW-PE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) reflective guy rope is not only lighter, but also has higher strength and wear resistance than its counterparts made with traditional materials.
Set-up with inner tent
At night and in the morning, changes in air temperature may cause water vapor to condense in the tent, forming condensation. Use our inner tent Magpie together with the Origami tent for a better overnight experience free from condensation and insects.
The entrances of the magpie inner tent features a double-layer design of nylon water-repellent fabric and mesh materials. You can open the cloth door while keepping the mesh layer closed to keep insects out while maintaining ventilation.
The typical height of the inner tent is 210cm, and the internal sleeping capacity is maximum four people.
The height of the magpie’s inner tent can be adjusted to adapt to different terrains. With this feature it is also possible to use it with other tipi-style tents that are 2.05-2.3 meters tall.
Magpie features two entrances, this can enhance ventilation when setting up with appropriate outter tent set-ups. The bottom of the inner tent is made of durable nylon oxford cloth with a hydrostatic head of 5000mm.
Color options
Origami is now available in Grey and Black. We recommond black for people who needs better light-proofness, and grey for people who prefers a brighter internal space.
